So this week was so funny I have never laughed harder in my life, the things we see, the people we are teaching, and the things we hear hahah i have never experienced anything quite like the dominican republic and these people here. We taught a few lessons with people just in their towels about to go shower hahah, every day we are having to hold out our arms and move away from these men giving us ginormous hugs haha, and we see at least 5 weaves in the street everyday hahaha. He lives with his 6 siblings and mom! we were teaching their family last night all together and we asked the mom if there was anything that we can do for her like clean or do the dishes or something and she just looked at us and started crying and said, “I just need your help with Wellington and my kids, we don´t have much and their papa isn´t here to help with money or teach them anything so I just need you to help give them a li...

Literally I love these people so much we are literally RUNNING to get them to church, and to get their parents to sign the permission for them to get baptized, and to make it home before 9 30 hahaha!!!!!! BUT shout out to running because we brought 14 souls to church yesterday! and we taught over 50 lessons this week WAHOOOO!! It is so humbling here! We are asking all the kids what they want for Christmas and literally one kid said ´una familia feliz¨ okayyy which is so sad because we saw his uncle get arrested the day before haha! We were in the midst of TWO drug busts this last week!  And literally we were teaching the word of wisdom. don´t do drugs kids!!!!!! I am learning lots about gratitude! Whenever I think about complaining like my legs hurt, this person didn´t come to church, i am fat haha, i can´t be with my family for christmas... familia y amigos!!!!!!!! wow this week might have just changed my life!!!!!! SO MANY GOOD THINGS AND SO MANY MIRACLES!!! I can't even think of all of the miracles because there are so many!  . Michelle, Carolina, y Anyelina want to get baptized! We are teaching the cutest little 13 year old girls and they are just best friends!!! Through them this week we found 7 other kids to teach and there parent too!!! HASHTAG ETERNAL FAMILIES!!!!!!!! . RAMON CAME TO CHURCH!!!!!! you guys, okay so Ramon was one of my very first contacts here! He is like 71 years old and has a walker, he left leg is paralyzed so he just crutches around on his walker up and down the street! He is so cute and we pass him everyday but he never comes to church haha! BUT YESTERDAY HE CAME FOR THE FIRST TIME AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN HAPPIER!!!!! it was like seeing my grandpa come to church!!!! his son passed away 2 weeks ago and yesterday we taught the plan of salvation!!!! I love it here. seriously.  literally the people are so nuts but seriously my heart just melts.  THE STORIES- - We had emergency transfers this week soooo that was a little nuts haha, my new companion is hermana erickson from dallas texas... shoutout to darci and kaden! she is so cute! she is has only been out 6 weeks more than me ssoooo we are on our knees lots praying for the gift of tongues and strength hahah - our house is infested with cockroaches...but seriously I am not even phased anymore. it is just a part of our morning routine killing them! one crawled out of my scriptures the other day and so you could say we are literalllllyyy spreading the gospel to every creature.  -we thought I had dengue but it wasn´t! such a blessed week!!! OUR SWEET CAROLINA GOT BAPTIZED!!! She is so so pure and when we first met her she was SO SHY but now she is just the cutest and so happy!!!!! My heart just bursts!  We are learning Creole and French from this couple we are teaching hah! They are so funny! He speaks english too but she doesn´t and so he always talks to us in english. and yesterday he asked  us if it was bad to get tattoos because he wants to get something about his ex girlfriend tattooed hahahaha and Elivia (his current girlfriend) was like what are you talking about because I was literally laughing SO HARD. Freakin player! Also she has a son that is 4 who is the cutest kid and they are from Haiti and yesterday we were teaching them and I heard this sound, like water being poured in a bucket and I was looking around to see if there was like a leak or something and HOMEBOY was straight up sitting right next to me peeing in this bucket hahah!  LOVE MY LIFE!!!...

HOLA!!!!! SO MUCH HAPPENS in a week I am just gonna give a run down a I am sending my love from here in the DR LOVE YOU ALL - we had THE BIGGEST storm the other day and Hermana Rasmussen and I were walking home for lunch and all of the sudden it just down poured but then it got really bad and it was like a mini hurricane but we just kept walking and the water was up to our knees and this guy was driving by on his motor and when down hahah and I still don´t know if he came back up! but all of these guys were shouting and telling us to come into this building and so we were like yeah we are going to drown hahah and then we realized the building was a gambling center! amen. hahah so we just sacrficed our bodies and swam home because we were starving! the things we do for food am i right!  Okay I have more stuff to write but I want to share the real important stuff!  SO ... missions are so GREAT! but like so hard at the same time haha! It is so crazy hah! But this week...
