I got a new mission president and everything haha...Presidente y Hermana Facer they don't know spanish but they are super nice and working really well with all of my emotions right now. my new house is honestly a dream...has hot water and everything WHAT, and I can walk barefoot, and it has carpet, anddd i haven't seen any lizards or cockroaches yet soo that is good! it is seriously SO COLD and there was snow the other day! I am now sleeping with a heater and billions of blankets instead of a fan and sheet haha. I haven't eaten rice or beans yet and my stomach is readjusting to this whole "normal food" thing!  I have loved every single one of my areas so much and I am hoping to love this one too...gonna take some time to get used to everything it is a little bit of a culture shock! and the language is a little hard! but I know that this is where God needs me to

Hello everyone this is mama Facer and I need to update you on our little Dominican!      She is in great spirits~for a caged animal! 😂 For all you who know Alexa will understand how she must be feeling on a 2 week lock-down! #ballofenergy      As all of our missionaries around the world, she is getting the very best care and attention for her safety during this time.  Her mission President is stellar and keeping us informed every step of the way.  She can call home every Thursday and Monday now for an hour and that has been really helpful- for all of us!      Prior to the shut-down she and Hna. Rodriguez had the baptism of Maicol (Michael) and Noel! They are the BEST boys and LOVE the Lord and the church SO MUCH!  It was a wonderful experience! Attached is their picture.  The members of the church are also taking such good care of them- bringing food and checking in. THANK YOU D.R. ❤️      Now our prayer is this will blow over, she can stay there, and complete her service. She ha

He is going to school so he can get a job and his school is on Sunday...#awkwardsoischurch! so he said he couldn't come to church but we asked him to pray and ask God, and the next day we passed by his house and he said that God told him to go to church! so  sunday morning  we passed by his house and he was waiting for us to go to church! #MIRACLE!  we found a girl Lourdena this week and when we were teaching her I asked her if she had ever felt peace or happiness and she said "no never"! It broke my heart a little but at the same time I just felt so happy that we found her because I know without a doubt in my mind she will find peace and happiness through this gospel and through the book of mormon! She is reading the Book of Mormon and she came to church with us yesterday! She also moved from Haiti 2 years ago and all of her family lives there still so we are bas
