Hello everyone this is mama Facer and I need to update you on our little Dominican!      She is in great spirits~for a caged animal! 😂 For all you who know Alexa will understand how she must be feeling on a 2 week lock-down! #ballofenergy      As all of our missionaries around the world, she is getting the very best care and attention for her safety during this time.  Her mission President is stellar and keeping us informed every step of the way.  She can call home every Thursday and Monday now for an hour and that has been really helpful- for all of us!      Prior to the shut-down she and Hna. Rodriguez had the baptism of Maicol (Michael) and Noel! They are the BEST boys and LOVE the Lord and the church SO MUCH!  It was a wonderful experience! Attached is their picture.  The members of the church are also taking such good care of them- bringing food and checking in. THANK YOU D.R. ❤️      Now our pray...

you guys. WHAT IS UP?? I am not going to write in Spanish in my emails yet because I have some professional Spanish speakers in this group and I don't want to get made fun of! I know my friends and family too well !  okay first 4 days at the MTC have been so so cute! I love it here pretty much the only good thing in provo! super great spirit, super great people, super great food...lol not really but I am just sticking with the fruit and salad #nogainzforthishermana  sooo to explain the subject line. You know in The Office when something super weird happens and Jim just looks at the camera or at Pam with THAT FACE- if you have seen the office you know what I am talking about- well I am constantly doing that Haha! I will just look at my companion or off in the distance! The MTC is super great but there are some weird ducks and weird rules that I am trying to understand Haha! So yeah I feel like Jim lots of the time!  I LOVE HERMANA KARRINGTON - she is my companion...

LETS GO I AM HERE! wow this is such an experience already! the dominican republic is wild!  Okay I had something written up but the power went out and I have to start over so that fun hahaha! I am just gonna sum up what I think I said... -IT IS SO HOT -There are so many miracles! We had 21 investigators at church yesterday! I met a deaf family and I got to sign with them and we are teaching them on saturday!!! -The spanish here is so fast and I don´t know what anyone is saying and they don´t know what I am saying hahah so it is an adventure!  -These people in my area don´t have anything but they are so willing to give to the missionaries even if it is just some cheese crackers and coke! They are the best!  -The kids are the best and always yell ¨HERMANAS¨ and come hug us haha!  -We were teaching and this cat came in the room with a giant lizard in its mouth and started eating it right there and there were blood and guts everywhere hahah!  ...
